ComedySportz Q.C. joins The Establishment on November 24th
Award-winning improv troupe officially resumes play at opening night event

ROCK ISLAND, IL - The Establishment Theatre is excited to formally announce our Opening Night Event - featuring the long-awaited return of ComedySportz® - on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at 7 p.m., at our newly renovated theatre, located at 220 19th Street, Rock Island, IL, 61201.

“Our loyal fans have been incredibly patient and supportive over the past five months and we know they’ll be very pleased,” said Patrick Adamson, general manager of The Establishment Theatre and ComedySportz Quad Cities, Ltd.  “We cannot thank our fans, the City of Rock Island, DARI, or Renaissance Rock Island enough.”  He concluded, “This Opening Night Event is as much about celebrating the launch of this new venue as it is a huge thank you to them.”

“We have some really fun things planned,” added Jeff De Leon, media director of The Establishment Theatre and ComedySportz Quad Cities, Ltd.  “In addition to our match, we have a special video presentation thanking our fans, some fun giveaways, a post-show meet & greet with the players, as well as a few surprises...  It’s going to be a night to remember.”

The Opening Night Event is sponsored by many local organizations who have donated prizes which will be awarded to patrons throughout the evening.

Executive Producer Jeff Adamson is quick to point out the fun does not end after the event.  “We’re back!  We’ve got our Opening Night Event on Wednesday, Thanksgiving is Thursday, and then we resume our regular Friday and Saturday matches that weekend.  The wait is over!  Game on!”

To reserve tickets for our Opening Night Event - as well as tickets for all regular Friday and Saturday night ComedySportz® matches, beginning on Friday, November 26th - contact The Establishment Theatre Box Office at 309.786.1111.  Fans may also order tickets online through our website at EstablishmentTheatre.com.  No free passes or coupons will be accepted to the Opening Night Event, however they may be applied to admission of our regular Friday and Saturday night matches.
